I haven't heard anyone speak in MW3 in the past 4 months or so. On Xbox 360 too.

It's so obvious when someone is only making a post to further their own agenda about a topic, yet nothing is ever done about it.

In which Redditors "research on the Internet" to prove the world wrong. Stupid education! Only Wikipedia holds the TRUTH! by judgejudyismyidolin circlebroke

[–]thatfunnyfeeling 3 points4 points ago

So is treating it like it's a valid substitute for education.

That's what we're laughing at. Reddit acts like you just have to give your print out from the Kahn Institute or the first year MIT courses and it's a substitute for an engineering master's degree.

Same with Diablo 3. It's all the stuff they hate, but it's a franchise that gives them that warm feeling in their heart when they upvote.

Always. The "breeding license" is a concept that comes up multiple times. You can't say it was only in one thread or another. It's pretty often.

A post about how much /r/funny sucks tops /r/funny by Martzein circlebroke

[–]thatfunnyfeeling 2 points3 points ago

Exactly. Redditors love to feel above the pack. When a comment calls a submission's bullshit out, reddit will jump to upvote it because it makes them feel like they figured it out.

mydadisaplumber. I did the clan ops when I could, but according to MW3 and Elite, I'm not part of the clan anymore.

Marcus Persson (Notch) answers an offer to track people across the internet by soundhaudegenin gaming

That doesn't mean he's above being called on childish antics.

I just don't get why you can't like "childish humor" or do "childish antics" when you're rich.

I don't see why you're criticizing him. He's a self employed millionaire. He can do whatever the fuck he wants. If he wants to call people dicks, good for him. He's obviously very smart and shrewd when it comes to social media.

Is Cheating a Rational Choice? "With the incontrovertible evidence that sexual frequency and quality dies as a relationship grows, cheating is therefore the only rational choice to have one's emotional and sexual desires met in a culture that stigmatizes open relationships/marriages." by madcat033in TrueReddit

Not everybody cheats. Most people don't.

There is incontrovertible evidence that frequency and quality of sex declines as a relationship progresses.

Despite what the nice man who made this article says, there is not.

The rhetoric you're using, and the fact that you have a militant attitude in responding to comments in this thread makes it look like you have an agenda to push. You seem dead set on it, and want to push it on others.

You're assuming that it's impossible to keep a monogamous relationship. I'd want to see your logic regarding choice number 1. How would a man live his entire life without sexual fulfillment?

A subreddit for really great, insightful articles, reddiquette, reading before voting and the hope to generate intelligent discussion on the topics of these articles.

Sexual jokes that are bountiful on reddit aren't what I'd call intelligent discussion. Neither is your rude and non contributing rebuttal. That is why I downvoted and reported it.

JRPGs are normally grind-filled

I've only ever played Final Fantasy, but I've never had to run around in circles waiting to level up. I always run straight through dungeons to the boss and never have had difficulty.

I know Fight Club likes to get made fun of on here, but it kind of has a point. Doing these passive things has subtly been twisted into making people think they're active activities.

TV shows and movies advertise using words such as "Don't miss...the big event...everyone will be watching...be there". It's somehow made consumerism a hobby. Midnight showings, and playing video games and watching movies literally the hour it comes out has become the new norm, and people feel like they actually did something besides be tricked into consuming more. Who lined up for a midnight showing 40 years ago?

I think the culture of isolation is more a reflection of the current generations lack of empowerment

I'm seeing it more after I graduate, and also reading a lot of anecdotal cases on reddit, but it seems really common to move to a city where you know nobody for a job. That's true sink or swim, and if you don't get friends fast, I can see how you could sink into the situation that many redditors talk about, being alone and lonely in your small apartment.
