I also consider myself to be more empathetic than normal. I've learned to avoid movies and television programs that are overly violent or depressing because it just feels like too much to handle. It's also difficult to listen to people describe extreme pain or suffering. How do you deal with those things when you do encounter them?

From what I've seen, US in-state tuition ranges anywhere between $10,000 - $25,000. In Canada, the tuition for my college is around $30,000. And it's going up next year. Maybe it's just my university, or maybe your friends were talking about out of state tuition (which is still generally comparable to what I'm paying now). Or maybe your school is really a lot cheaper than mine.

Um. This is untrue. I'd be paying so much less to go to college in the US next year. Your international rates are outrageous. Well, at least for where I'm going to school (a big university).

I got my belly button pierced a little over a year ago, and it didn't heal until maybe last month. My problem was that I was having an allergic reaction to the surgical steel jewelry. I have a nickel allergy, and I replaced mine with a gold ring. However, I think it would be better to listen to Meat_Related about titanium.

If that's not the case, then you might just have to take it out. :[ Good luck!
