Growing up my dad bought us a dog he named Kitty, a cat named Puppy, and a parrot named Jeff. He taught Jeff how to say Puppy and Kitty's names, which would cause Kitty to freak out and bark constantly. Dad found it hilarious. I'm going to repeat some of what archietross said, and add some of my own thoughts.

I agree that the intro pack would be a good idea. The Wolfir Soulbound creature is crazy, and even crazier when paired with flying.

I think your deck is fine for a beginner casual environment. If you were playing with my friends, I would say you are half way there (but my friends and I tend to play lower powered decks).

You got flying go for you, which is great because evasion is very strong. What you need is pump to back up the evasion. You have some, but try to pick up some more. The pumping soulbound creatures would be great. More of the flying enchantment would be good too.

Take out some of the more expensive non-fliers for less expensive fliers if you have them. The wildwood giests can be removed easily. The lunar mystic can go to (sorry).

What other cards do you have that you are thinking about including?

I think it gives reddit a bad face. I think it brings in more negative contributors and pushes away people with a positive mindset, before they even know what an account is.

I can only speak to casual magic, not competitive, but I would make the following changes.

Find more enters the battlefield triggers, or remove the cloudshift/flicker. You need to invest more in this mechanic, or get out of it. Maybe keep the cloudshift around defensively.

Try to find a stronger win condition. Right now it looks like you are banking on the unblockable latch seekers. You need options for when those aren't out. Ditch fleeting distraction for something with flying (maybe the Niblis with the enter's the battlefield trigger).

But just make changes and play with people at a similar level of competitiveness. After each game, think what did work and what didn't, and make changes appropriately.

If you wanted to go 'all in' with proliferate, you could invest in a few grindclock (cheap rare) and maybe even shriekhorn (if you can reliably proliferate) and then some proliferate cards like steady progress.

I'm really tired of the 'men are sexualized in video games too'. They aren't really. They just aren't. Yes they have muscles, but thats because they are warriors, and even then, that's not the same kind of sexualization as huge boobs. Huge boobs just don't make sense ESPECIALLY when any kind of physical activity is involved.

Tinker - Buy soul ring; Get in jungle near enemy dual lane with lvl4 rocket and rearm (and 540 mana, which is your basically base at this point); rocket, ring, rearm, rocket, ring, rearm, rocket. That should be a double kill (or at least 2 top dead).

Hopefully find regen rune on the way back.

Including the sleeper car? That's super cheap then. I'd need to find other people who are planning on sleeping in the sleeper car though.

Yes. Iron branches rock. 1 to all stats is: 19 hp, 14 mana, 1 atk sp, 1 damage, some really minor regen, and 1/7 of an armor (which is almost 1 armor in league. 1 dota armor = 6 lol armor).

Regen items are just way more important though. Boots work in league because of the harass advantage... but it just doesn't work as well in dota. The access to massive health regen items early on makes it so much more worthwhile than the movement. If you don't have the regen items, you will be using those boots to run back to base right away.

Thanks! Looks like you found about the same options I did. I was hoping someone would have some sort of secret bus service, but that doesn't seem likely. 15% of amtrak with student discount though, which is pretty awesome. It only costs 20$ the first time to get the student card and I'll save more than that on the first trip.
