2km seems like so little it's barely worth it. I have a fitbit and by its calculations I walk almost 6 miles a day on the average day... 2k a day might make more sense, just my 2c.

I was on a ketogenic diet for 10 weeks and also lost nothing. HOWEVER, check this out. 0 lb lost, but tonnes of inches!

The others are right to ask what meds you are on! Anti-psychotics, anti-convulsants and other commonly subscribed mood stabilizers (depakote, lithium and family) can severely screw with your body's ability to perform lipolysis, making fat loss and the breakdown of dietary fat very difficult, which my explain why you aren't losing on a high-fat diet as well. Unfortunately quitting these meds isn't an option for most users, so if one of those is your problem, a different diet may be a more appropriate option!

Best of luck and remember, the scale means next to nothing, what matters is the actual change in your body!

I've got two pairs of size 6 old navy jeans up for grabs! I'll post pics later when I make a mass post (lost tonnes of weight but I'm short, so my clothes are mostly moderately sized). Anyways, they're both mid-rise, one is skinny cut and the other are boot.

I also am a student so I can't pay shipping, but totally willing to work that out. Off to take pics!

It actually took longer for my cat to recover from being neutered than being declawed. His paws were barely tender after the surgery and he could walk fine immediately after his overnight stay. With being fixed he was miserable for at least a week, poor guy.

Unfortunately, I've become extremely allergic to the point of having regular asthma attacks when I'm at home, so I can no longer keep Mac, my little tabby. He is 3 years old as of April 1, 8-9lb, neutered, declawed and microchipped. He's great with dogs and other cats, but generally tries to avoid kids. He is indoor-outdoor, but does not mind being kept solely indoors. He is very affectionate and frisky.

I'm doing everything I can to keep him out of a shelter. He is completely free, comes with everything you'll need to start him up in your home. Looking for someone who he can grow old with and will take great care of him.

Someone needs to take a look around our metropolitan areas... or the say thousands of people who are getting laid off constantly... I come from a small town. My dad has changed jobs from management for food companies 3 times in four years due to plant closures, all in the same town. Some people are still doing well. A lot aren't.

It certainly can be a paradise, but there are a lot of hungry, unemployed citizens as well.

There are a TONNE of variables you have to consider, and a lot of it really does depend on where you want to live and where you CAN AFFORD to live. They are very often not the same! Not every business has what it takes to make enough for your big family to live in Toronto or Vancouver.

I would really consider joining a forum like expats and contact a decent immigration consultant. Someone along the way may have more information for you :)

Knowing french isn't necessary unless you plan to live in a predominantly french-speaking area, most of which are in Quebec. If you don't know if a city is French-speaking, google it.

Rent/population/cash to start a business all depends on the property cost and value of where you'd be thinking of living and working. A

I get the same thing, my throat feels extremely dry, especially when it's the bottom of a loose-leaf brewed cup. I find it gets a lot worse with black teas than anything else, but I've no idea why.
