Saw this pic on reddit, big led screen. Can you find it? by TheCommiein answers

http://www.yslv.co.uk/led-screens/outdoor-led

i remember looking into this about a year ago. there was a huge screen outside my office. The website above supplied it. IIRC the screens are modular: made up of blocks with (100?) leds each. Build them up and you make wall of leds, any size you like.

EDIT: found some old figures: the blocks are actually 80 x 80 LEDs. for a 1920 x 1080 resolution you would need 24 x 13 blocks. they weigh 10kg each. screen would be 7.7m high. Price was 80GBP per block so about 25k GBP per day total.

its a reference to the empire at the time. IIRC 7heads were countries forming the empire, the 10 horns were the leaders: one of which was caesar, who was mocked by making him the little horn

(or something like that)

when i had constipation my doctor made me take table spoon of sugar syrup (i think- it was a sugary syrupy thing anyway). worked like charm: soft, clean, no wiping needed. Clean your teeth though.

using a continental style toilet helps too (the one s where you squat over a hole)

Woman volunteers herself for animal testing in protest. by Warlawin WTF

[–]jezmaster 1 point2 points ago

Yes, it is awful that test has to be used until an alternative can be found, but at least it seems to be as a last resort:

the use of the Draize test in the U.S. and Europe has declined in recent years and is sometimes modified so that anaesthetics are administered and lower doses of the test substances used.[6] Chemicals already shown to have adverse effects in vitro are not currently used in a Draize test,[7] thereby reducing the number and severity of tests carried out.

Presumably the point is that animal testing today is humane
