I just scolded some kids at our local park a couple of days ago! They were throwing handfuls of gravel at the geese. I stopped my car and asked them what they were doing. They mumbled "playing" and "nothing". I told them to find something else to do and they called me a "white fucking honkey" and then I LOLed. :o/

If my kids were acting like jerks I'd be totally fine with a stranger correcting them. You did the right thing.

Having a good mom is a luxury I am thankful for every day. I didn't always see it that way, but now that I have two kids of my own I know how much my mom loves me and how much she quietly did without so that I could have the things that I wanted and needed.

Since he knows that he broke your trust in the past, then he should be totally understanding when you ask him why he changed his password...and you should ask. Just be upfront. Say "Hey, you cheated and we're trying to get past that so I have to tell you that when your ex posted on your FB wall I became suspicious, tried to log into your FB and found out you changed your password. That sets off some major red flags for me. What's the deal? Explain yourself please."

In order to get past a partner cheating you need to have 100% transparency. He isn't giving you that. Call him on it.

Haha! We told no-one! We got married then we broke the news to family/friends. Most people were supportive but there were a few offhand comments about us denying them a fun wedding with tons of food and people. UGH! As if! We just said "Sorry, it was our day and we had the exact wedding that we wanted" and left it at that. Everyone got over it. Good Luck on whatever you decide. :)

The hubs and I got married with only us and the officiating judge in attendance. I have never wanted a big wedding and I can't imagine dealing with the stress and drama that often comes with a bigger, more traditional ceremony. We have been married for 6 years - together for 16.

Tell him this. There are plenty of ways to spice up a stale relationship without involving other people in it. Reddit can be a very sex positive, open minded place and you'll probably get advice telling you to give an open relationship a shot. Some people are into that and that's fine, but you aren't a prude for not wanting it in your marriage. My advice is to get counseling and work on your relationship in other ways together. If you aren't comfortable with the thought of having a BF or your husband having a GF then don't do it. Your husband will just have to work on the relationship with you until he's satisfied or he'll have to move on.

I work in a pediatrics office. Thursday one of the docs called DCFS on a couple because they are drugged out junkies who haven't been giving their 4 yr old her anti-seizure meds. Yesterday, the mom, dad, kid and case worker came in for an official evaluation. The little girl just sat there staring at her lap the entire time I was in the room with them. She is a sweet and well behaved kid from what I've seen in the past, but very shy and reserved. I never really pay attention to the children's ages but if you had asked me on Wednesday how old I thought she was I'd say probably almost 3. She's actually a 4 yr old. She weighed 26lbs 3.2oz. A 4 yr old girl should weigh about 35 lbs. Her druggie dad wouldn't even look at me when I spoke and I really wanted to trip him as he walked out. I'm just glad she's got someone looking out for her now.

Edit: this isn't the worst thing I've seen, just the most recent.

nothing. after 10+ years together my now husband (of 6 yrs) and I got married by ourselves at the courthouse in front of a judge. it cost us $10 and we just told friends and family after the fact. he did just mention getting remarried w/ a bigger ceremony/reception. I said "fuck that" and he dropped it. he's pretty rad.
