Honestly? Don't be whiny and sarcastic about this. You have a large community that has thousands of visitors coming to your site and there is consensus about your site's design. It is bad. Are you really going to argue that?

What you should do is pay some freelancer like $700 to make and implement a simple, unoffensive design. After that, you can expand your site more aggressively.

Clearly you have some good stuff on there, but all I wanted to do while I was on is leave ASAP. You should learn from this feedback, improve, and be all the better for it. Instead, you showed up and represented your site like a giant dick.

With all due respect, shut the fuck up and build it. Just stop hesitating and build it and launch it. You have no idea how it'll change the world until you do it. Even if its not this project, you learn and cant see how it changes the next one.

I guarantee you, 100%, if you don't do it, it'll stick with you for the rest of your life. Not like a serious, heavy thing. Just a 'what if' in the background, an 'I wonder how __ would have gone..', etc.

Go get Spotify. It shits all over any cds and it loads faster and you dont have to click 10 buttons. Plus it has anything you could ever want in higher quality. There is literally nothing CDs can offer besides the case/booklet that you cant get from Spotify.

Also CDs are the opposite of minimalism. Having dozens of plastic disks surrounding you that you have to store, move, clean up, take out, etc is not a minimalist way to listen to music
