Brentwood is pretty sleepy right now but there's a lot of building going on in the neighbourhood so we'll have to see what happens. They look like high-end condos so I doubt it'll get rough.

I lived in that neighbourhood for about a year in 2002/2003 and having come from East Broadway (near VCC), we were shocked at how sketchy it actually was. Serious white trash factor in that neighbourhood that we weren't expecting. A lot of wife beaters, mullets and camaros. Lots of weird screaming and domestic violence in the middle of the night. Lots of car theft. That kind of thing.
