Saw this double narwhale tusk today! by chubbybunneyin pics

Here's the info plaque.

I'm a 29 year old American, and I was taught, and made to write with, cursive handwriting throughout public school. I haven't used it once, for anything, since. Is this true for you, in your age/location? by krevencyin AskReddit

[–]chubbybunney 0 points1 point ago

American, 20 years old. I write my words in kind of a hybrid-cursive... the space between letters is determined by whether it's easier to pick up my hand or connect the two. My 'cursive' looks much more elegant than my print, and I can write much more quickly by not committing to firmly following the style.

Maybe this happens because I like to take notes by hand? Am I the only one who does that?

I try and do the things that bring me the most happiness, even if that's only making it numb. I'll tell myself that I am more important than my work, school, etc., and that I should do what makes me feel the very best. Whether that's talking to a friend, riding my bike, or just wasting time on the internet with a good cup of coffee. Allowing myself to stop being accountable for a little while helps ease my stress levels, which then helps me be able to motivate myself into actually doing something.

What is your success rate? Are most of the people who come to you for treatment in relationships (either heterosexual or homosexual) or single? Do you believe that people are born gay or is it something that arises because of a major life event (nature v. nurture, basically). Thanks for your time!

I am a 20 year old female who has been on Accutane 3 times. The first for 7-8 months, the second for 12 months and a third time for 18 months. My dermatologist said I was the most treatment-resistant acne patient she'd ever had. Accutane was THE ONLY thing I was ever prescribed that could clear my skin. I had tried everything from cleansers, astringents, benzyl peroxide, retin-a, tazorac, and YEARS of oral antibiotics (amoxicillin and doxycyclene).... and I know there are items on this list that I have forgotten. As far as side effects go, I suffered few. Some dry skin and photosensitivity. During those treatments, I was on 40 mg pills, one every day. My skin would get better, but then as soon as I got off the Accutane, my acne would return (this is very atypical, by the way), so after an insurance-mandated waiting period I got back on it. This happened twice, but finally my skin is relatively clear--not perfect--but normal. I've been off of it since I was newly 19 with no plans to get back on it, but if it ever came back, I would.

Ladies, for all of us oblivious guys, what are some signs that you are interested? by GillyRozein AskReddit

[–]chubbybunney 1 point2 points ago

There's no one way to tell if someone is interested in you. It completely depends on the lady and her personality. If you're wondering, grow a pair and ask. Honestly...

I was biking around a curve really fast, hit some sort of bump and the bike just scooted out from under me. I caught my fall with my face and skidded along the road. Total injuries include broken nose, broken front tooth, hematomas on my lip and arms as well as road rash and abrasions everywhere. I feel really lucky to not have a concussion, though.

If you're planning to find a job, bring the documentation you'll need. Most places require a birth certificate/passport in addition to a photo ID upon hiring. This list might help...

After a lengthy debate my SO just informed me he may not be the type of girl he's physically attracted to. What do I need to change to be more "high-maintenance" as far as hair, makeup, etc.? by [deleted]in amiugly

grrrl, you are lovely just the way you are. there's nothing wrong not having "apply makeup and style hair" as part of your priorities every day. if you do want to do makeup, skip the foundation. your skin is flawless, and it would just dull you out. i have fairly similar coloring to you, and i've found that a little bit of bronzer is easy to apply and helps define your (already pretty) cheekbones. just pucker your lips and sweep the brush upward in an angled line along the bone. mascara is another easy way to 'dress up' your face. you don't need much, just a couple swipes on each eye and you're done! also, your boyfriend is dumb for not liking you for who you are.

you look good! you have your own style and carry yourself well. in my opinion, you should keep the facial hair neat.. scruffy is a look few can pull off, most of the time it just looks like something dead on the wearers face.

Writing a term paper about strip clubs, does anyone have any recommendations for articles or books to read? (x/post to 2x) by tortugadelsolin feminisms

There's a documentary called Live Nude Girls Unite! about a strip club that attempts to unionize. It touches on a lot of gender issues and social assumptions about sex work. I know it's not a book or an article, but it might help you :)
