I don't see Jerry enjoying the bright city lights of LA. Portland could work, however his style is probably too similar to Nate McMillan's. If Portland is looking to distance themselves from that then I doubt he'd get that job.

What gets my goat is not only the flopping, but the hypocrisy of it. Guys like, say, Varejao who are serial floppers complain like their mothers got shot when someone flops on them. Or when the refs don't call their attempt at flopping.

Retroactive technical fouls, administered after the game upon reviewing game tape, and the associated $2k fine would curb that. The technical fouls don't have to be shooting fouls, but would certainly count toward the threshold for suspensions (you get 15 or 16 or whatever and you get a one-game suspension).
