That's a wonderful idea. I won't be able to give the server any time until tomorrow evening at the soonest, but I'll see if it's something that I would be able to script. Otherwise I'll make a request on the bukkitdev forums. I think it would be picked up as it would be a very cool addition to many HC servers. Thanks Bran, keep the ideas coming in.

That's the kind of thing I would like to see to see on FireMC.

Sure, it is a PvP server and griefing is allowed. But it would be nice if we weren't so mindless to just destroy everything for no reason.

I've been thinking of ways to make griefing harder but I think it mostly comes down to the kind of people that hang on FireMC.

Maybe we could have a courthouse that could impose sentences longer than a 5 minute ban. Or a plugin that would make it harder to mine blocks that were placed by another player. We're also trying to find a good bounty system, so people can pay to have somebody killed, but I'm afraid we'll need a longer deathban for this to have any impact. At this point, every suggestions will be examined and we'll probably try a bunch of things before we know what the server really is.

L'an passé j'ai été surpris par la rigidité des moyens employés. Ils y avait des checkpoints partout pour monter sur les plaines, c'était impossible de traverser avec de l'alcool. La St-Jean à Québec en a vraiment pris un coup.

We could build some kind of castle at 0,0 and disable PvP inside, so that players could meet and trade. I like the idea.

Sadly it is currently impossible to remove name tags. They are handled client-side. The only way to dim them is to use a modded client, like spout client.

Yelling with 4 exclamation marks makes the chat almost global. We might have to play with the settings a bit to find the sweet spot, or maybe we'll ditch this plugin entirely.

The new server is not whitelisted. I have a recruitment thread ongoing on mcservers. Once we get a few strangers in there I'm sure it will make for some interesting situations. Otherwise, I don't have much interest or experience with roleplay, I'm not sure I could pull this off.

LOL, I trusted Socrates, he seemed like a fine gentleman roaming about, handing breadcrumbs and coal freely. He followed me through my 20 minutes campfire protection and helped me dig holes, protected me from monsters etc.

If anything, I am content that my assassination had a 20 minutes price tag and lead him in the middle of nowhere. I shouldn't have trusted him, but it's pretty stupid that you would follow somebody with no base and nothing in-inventory only for a cheap kill. Oh well, see you next month :)

It breaks Multiverse even on the latest dev builds.

Multiverse-Core seems to work but Multiverse-Portal works only partially. Will let you select and modify portals but they don't teleport.
