Chicago Police drive van through crowd of protesters. by l30in videos

[–]Stizzrickle -1 points0 points ago

I love how your username shows a different meaning then what you are implying. Now, police also are EMT qualified. If they are the first responders, they can usually do first aid and help prepare the patient for paramedics when they arrive. Let's, in this case, go with the paddy wagon scenario. If you have a van, lots of cops and a violent group of protesters, what would be the easiest mode of transportation, foot? naw... Bikes? Nope.. A fucking van. Shove them all in there, drive to where you need to go, let them out and cops needed to defuse a violent situation appear. These statements of "I'm an occupy protester and I should be heard!" are fucking annoying. The initial reasoning for these groups was to fight for the 99%, correct? Then peaceful occupying all around the nation was seen on TV. Citizens went, "YEAHHHHH FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS!" and everyone supported Occupy. Then, out of no where, "Anarchy anarchy anarchy!". Graffiti on the walls, vandalism with meaning to support opposition to our government. It was no longer about Wall Street. It was about the government from then on out. Governments then started kicking people out of the places they were allowed to "Occupy" and the protesters went, "Wahh Wahh wahhh the government is being mean to us for no reason," in turn led to even more violent demonstrations (IE: Port of Seattle protest which led to protesters jumping on cars and acts of vandalism). Now, we have the fucking Black Bloc trying to destroy and blow up buildings? Causing terrorism on our homeland, YET they are AMERICANS!! Occupy is long gone and with these protests continuing, authorized use of force by the Police and Government will only get worse, as more people part of these protests believe terrorism is the answer. Doesn't matter if you aren't part of the Black Bloc, you are marching next to them.

Word to the Police: Be safe and I support you guys 100%.

/rant

TL;DR These protests got way out of hand and it's not going to be long before more use of force is authorized.

Okay so one man peacefully standing in front of a tank to stop it is the same as a group of protesters, known to cause trouble, standing in front of a marked police van? Missing your point.

It doesn't matter what the cop in the van did. Yes he hit people with the van. Move the fuck out of the way. They still slashed his tires and beat the shit out of him (IE: Concussion). This unfortunately would have probably happened if he would have stopped anyway AND with these assholes in front of him, they probably wouldn't have moved if he stopped. Make them move and let him get to where ever he needed to go. Maybe he had EMT equipment and had a medical emergency or maybe he was trying to get somewhere to stop further destructive demonstrations. Who knows. But if you see emergency lights, move the fuck out of the way.

Well the police hold themselves to the standard of "Protecting the Public". When you have occupy protesters committing crimes, the police are still doing their job. If anyone in the protest starts committing the crimes, the whole protest will be seen as a "violent" or "unlawful" protest. I side with the police 100% once the protest goes from non-violent or non-destructive to violent or destructive. Best thing for the protesters to do is to break up the protest and not been seen as one of the causes of the violent demonstration and not start yelling and pushing cops which then in turn makes the police angry and makes them lash out. People don't realize that if you fuck with the cops, they will fuck with you.

I'm not going against your post since I do not object your post, just backing you up.

Wanna talk about disappointment? I got to witness a Occupy Seattle twice make themselves look like a bunch of fools. This whole Occupy thing is a disappointment.

What's one instance of sexual exploration that you instantly regretted? by InstantPeeRegretin AskReddit

When I first masterbated I had no idea what I was doing. I was like 11 or 12 and just realized tuggin and rubbing just felt right. I had no idea what would happen until I started getting the jiggly wiggly in my boy bits. I kept going because it felt so good and finally this whitish stuff came spurting out and my knees were tensed up. I honestly thought I was dying and was freaking out. I was about to tell my parents to take me to the hospital and something told me that was a bad idea. But that weird feeling finally stopped and I wasn't dying anymore. So I did it again.

This would be perfect for Search and Rescue missions. For instance, if you put a FLIR camera in one of those and gave it to the Coast Guard, just set up a Search pattern, that would minimize costs of a helicopter and other assets to try to locate the vessel or person. That would be bad ass.

No he did not. The video of the whole ordeal is on YouTube and uncut. He never even shot his pepper spray once at anyone. It's absolutely clear in the video. His "sidekick" did and you'll hear Jones saying "if you can't take a little rock hit, this won't work" or something a long those lines. He was one of the reasons they left the court house. Thumbs up to Jones.

Either this commercial stopped playing in the last two years or I have a really good memory. I always used to laugh at how he says "I'll call now" like he really means "shut up bitch".

Hey r/Seattle, let's make a pact to make up for today--do a Seattle good deed on May 2nd by trotskiin Seattle

[–]Stizzrickle 0 points1 point ago

Sure windows are objects that can be replaced. What about Seattles dignity? I heard on the radio that Seattle was the number one city to live in. People were happier living here then any other city in the US. Sure, the culture is great, the city is great and the nightlife is great. Now, when you smash the windows of a persons workplace trying to make a living, maybe a teenager working a part time job at American apparel or niketown and scare the living shit out of them, or destroy tourists cars that are visiting the "Great City of Seattle!" then that's where I draw the line. The window smashing and car damaging basically stooped Seattle so low. Those reasons are the reasons that no one is supporting these protests anymore. When the protests started and everyone was like, "Yeah! I'm 99% too!! Fight for us!! Fuck the 1%!" and Occupy Seattle pulled that shit on Harbor Island at the Terminals, everyone lost interest. It wasn't a protest against the 1% anymore, it was a display of violent antigovernment protesting. It's not about the 99% anymore. It's not about sweatshops and corporate America anymore. Maybe some people are still marching for it, sure. But, once a group of people show violent measures, your point is not going anywhere anymore. The mayor that once supported occupy authorized Seattle PD to use an even more broad force against the protesters. The protests have lost the following they once had and the remaining following they had probably depleted yesterday. Now it's just something that feared the working man or even tourists that are the 99%, making the little money they make, that you are fighting for, pay to replace slashed tires, windows and damage to their own personal vehicle they work their ass off for. Fuck these protests.

Just my new exhaust. (x-post from r/250r) by Stizzricklein motorcycles

Basically. When beginners (usually the main market of Ninja 250rs) they aren't really looking for a loud exhaust or all these features that draw too much attention. I know when I started off on my 250, that I didn't want too much attention. I wasn't sure if I was going to lowside in front of a bunch of people. Now, I got it to give me that extra 2hp to keep up on the freeway and accel when I need to. The noise is an annoying factor, but I can change that with the powertip

It was $89 an hour for labor. It is really loud, but I'm going to buy the powertip to quiet it down a bit.

I was looking at it due to the fact that I didn't have to rejet right away, since I would be looking at around $400 with installation. So I could save my cash and deal with the lean for a bit until I save enough for it. Plus, it was a free exhaust. It was one that I've been looking at for awhile, so I saw it on the floor while I was getting an oil change. I asked if I could hear it and it is really loud. The salesperson was saying that it was the reason they couldn't sell the bike, since 250s are beginner bikes and as he put it, "It's something a young asian chick wouldn't want on her bike". So I said, "I'll swap my stock exhaust for that one" and they told me I had to pay $89 for labor and its mine. So... New Carbon Fiber exhaust for $89 vs ~$620 total installed.
