Graduating HS is an accomplishment where I came from and the rough upbringing I had. And for the record I am 36 so it happened 18 years ago. A different time.

Problems with my son being bullied. Need some words of wisdom for a meeting this afternoon with the teacher. by lookhereiamin AskReddit

I heard that somewhere. No validation. I also could care less.

The term 'white lie" is considered racist now. Be careful.

Prison mentality always works, seriously. Taking out the 'baddest' bully shows you are not weak and will not take it. Probably not the best for a 3rd grader but worked for me in 7th grade when I moved to a new school. Then again that was in the late 1980's when you could fight it out without fear of being shot, sued or imprisoned.

Crazy Train. Started playing bass to help a friends band out after playing guitar for 23 years. Edit: spelling

Just think the judge who ordered it was blowing smoke.

I think management has changed. I am also pretty sure that the judge who ordered it was just blowing smoke.

Kmart sucks. I was banned for life 23 years ago for stealing baseball cards when i was 13. I thank them for it. Even though i still go there on a rare occasion since they are closer than walmart.

I am competing for a quarterly award at work next month. What are some credentials or interesting things that I can rapidly/cheaply achieve to improve my chances? by doctorDiodein AskReddit

Hmm, sorry can't think of anything except maybe take an online safety course in ergonomics, safety is a great quality in any field.

Is it true what they say about Walmart? by smallcountrysyndromein AskReddit

Going to walmart late at night will always make you feel better about yourself. Almost gauranteed to be the classiest person there.

Redditors without a college education but managed to make a successful career; Have any advise for those of us just starting out without a degree? by Whiskeybent341in AskReddit

[–]Provenzer0 1 point2 points ago

Experience outweighs a degree. I am a Director at a consulting firm with a 6 figure salary and no degree. In my field experience and certifications (most are self study ) are what you need. When I hire people it is about what they've done not what they learned in school.

Reddit, I feel dumb. I need an age old (for me) question answered. How the hell do you deal with towels? by RippedOutOfMyGourdin AskReddit

[–]Provenzer0 1 point2 points ago

Wash them once a week. After a week of being damp then dry then damp promotes mildew growth.
