Anyone else have no Diablo-playing friends?

I tend to play one game and play it to death and then move on to something else and then maybe come back to it a year later.

I like strategy games. I still like Supreme Commander 2.

Part of my problem is my life. I rarely get two whole hours play straight. And even if I do I can handle about one or two rounds of Team Fortress multiplayer and then I need a break.

I have to check the news/take a piss/get a drink/see the front page of reddit/take the dogs out/etc.

No one likes the guy that goes AFK every 20 minutes.

I played with it some more.

OP was right. It's pretty useless past 4 meters for me.

But it has allowed me to get lighting on macro shots that I was never able to before.

It also can give a softer light on anything about 4 meters or less as long as there isn't anything shiny to reflect the light ring.

It's absurd, but technically the answer is yes.

It's not really that absurd. He's talking about a Supreme Court decision that he disagrees with.

It's something that actually happened. A neighbor called in a bogus 911 call on two guys and the police came to their apartment. They were arrested for violating the Texas "Homosexual Conduct" Law. They spent the night in jail and had to be bailed out.

Here's the kicker. The charges stuck. All the way through to Texas's highest court.

They were arrested in 1998.

It's not absurd. It happened. And multiple judges in Texas gave it a big ass thumbs up.

And here is Ron Paul saying that although the sodomy laws are "Ridiculous" they are perfectly legal and the Supreme Court usurped the states authority.

I can not and will not support that kind of thinking.

Ron Paul believes that government of Texas has the authority to make gay sex illegal.

He may believe it's a bad law but he believes that elected politicians should have the power to ban gay activity.

I can't deal with that rationale.

I didn't have anything else to do tonight so I took a stab at it.

It only took me two movies with a lot of breaks.

I had some foil tape and a plastic case from a 100 count dvd package. Then I just used a file folder for the inner tube.

BTW a roll of foil tape (the really shiny kind) is 4 to 6 bucks at a hardware store for a small roll.

Guess I should say I use a ProVari. I always use dual coil cartos with a tank. I never really want to get up past 4.5 (5 at the max) because then I can sort of "cook" my juice in the tank from the heat or the carto.

I start at 3.7 and raise it as the days go by.

The Carto starts at 3.7 but ends up at 5. Then it goes in the trash and I start over.

I did get a batch that was heaven at 4.2 but they have been out of them for some time now.

You're right. I had remembered that no one died in Haysville. I thought they were all in Wichita.

When we found my friends dog it looked like someone had taken a machine gun to it. He wasn't home at the time and the roof came off. His change jar and cd's became shrapnel.

The strangest thing I saw was the burger joint. Sure there were tons of boards and cars and heavy stuff everywhere. But there's one thing that will stick with me forever.

After it was over my girlfriend went to try and find a working phone to call our families.

We made it as far as the burger shop and then we were stuck. The devastation closed all the roads. So we're standing there and the burger joint had exploded. All four walls blew out tossing cinder blocks and stools all over the place.

The owner showed up and since we couldn't really go anywhere I started helping him pick up TV's, tables, stools and lots of stuff.

So there we are in a building that had walls blown out, tables tossed, TV's are 50 yards away, basically total destruction and I look at the counter.

Sitting on the counter like it always had been was a tray with the ketchup and mustard bottles on either side of a stack of napkins.

That was the first of many creepy things I saw that the tornado had done.

Many years ago I had a house in Haysville. After the tornado came through it looked like it took a direct hit from a bombing run.

I spent a lot of time helping clean up and repairing homes for friends.

Ever since then, seeing some of the destruction up close, I'm not ashamed to say I'm scared shitless of tornadoes.

Those are the batteries I ordered with my Provari. I bought 3 of the 18650. I try and rotate them. A charge lasts a day.

All 3 still work just fine being used since mid November.

It does make a good fist pack. I upgraded to a provari. This guy REALLY wanted to quit smoking. So I figured since I would never go back to it (I have some ego batteries as backups) I'd charge him $10 to get myself a new provari battery and he can try that to see how much he likes it.

I just went through my stuff and grabbed everything that I didn't use. In the last year I've picked up some stuff that really wasn't a personal favorite.

I just want to help another person quit smoking.

I sold my Rough Stack to a guy yesterday. He started off with the "blu" pack his sister gave him.

So I offloaded the roughstack, 3 batteries, 2 chargers. some cartos and a bunch of different juices to him.

He gave me $10 for the whole lot.

I understand Libertarian ideas just fine. And I disagree with about 85% of them.

I find it FUCKING hilarious that any time someone posts a "taxes = theft" article or brain fart self post or mentions it in a comment it greeted with open arms and a salvo of good cheer.

But if you then point out that Ron Paul shouldn't be paid you're some sort of Ron Paul bashing jackass.

There is just no damn logic to it.
