Don't think of it as entirely negative. I still had a great time. If your first trip will be anything like mine was you'll think about things in more of a third person POV, see some crazy things with your eyes closed, feel like you're moving in a vacuum while you listen to Fleet Foxes, and think a techno beat from some old PS2 game is mind-blowingly complex.
