You're pretty awesome. I am making a zelda-esque top down game (castles, dungeons, midieval times) that I have been using opengameart.com art for. The more I can get my hands on, the better. I can't see your artwork at the moment since I am at work. Either way, I am glad you are willing to make art for others for free. Thanks.

and Sentinals don't have a disc jump weapon. Not every class in the game has to have every variant of weapons.

Are game states used for levels? Meaning that after you complete level 1, you are now in game state for level 2?

I am glad to see what you are doing (This is my first time hearing of it). Did anyone attend? I'm at work so I can't see it. Which brings up a point. Short notice during the middle of a week day might have been difficult for people (such as myself) to attend. However, I hope some did so that I can watch the replays later.

Oh I think you are correct about VFD. But attacking the enemy sensor is not the same as "I'll attack the enemy flag stand". This implies I will clear the HoF and deployables on the flag.

Joining the Air Force opened up so many opprotunities for me once I got out. The biggest question about joining the military is, "Is it for you?".

Oh yeah and, the recuiters DO sugarcoat it. It is their job. When I was considering the Army, they came to my house, work, and just flat out tried way to hard to get me to sign up. They even became indignant when I mentioned I was talking to the Air Force. The Air Force recruiter was a lot more laid back and said "On paper, you look like someone who would do good in the AF, were here if you want to join".

Either way, I think you wont regret joining. Good luck to you.
