Menú del Día - Bogotá, Colombia. This cost me $3. by Brandauxin FoodPorn

Beers are between .50-$2 depending on where you get them (store or bar). Aguila is the one that the locals drink. My wife and I just finished a trip around the world. I'm thinking of posting food pics from all the places we visited. Any interest?

Menú del Días in South America are generally a meat, veggie, and rice. Super cheap and super good. Generally they will ask if you want chicken or beef and that's the only option

Food. Everyone travels with their stomachs. Where was the best? What animals have you eaten? The other is the 'if you were on death row, what would you eat as your last meal?'

AMA African living in Africa. Ask me anything you need to know about living in the 3rd World. Been here all my life. by iliketothinkin IAmA

[–]Brandaux 2 points3 points ago

Jambo! Thanks for the AMA. My wife and I spent a month traveling through Tanzania (we're American). I couldn't believe how many people loved talking to us and screaming OBAMALAND! when they'd see us. I cannot imagine what it must be like in Kenya. What do you think about Obama?
