A: Tsukihime was Type-Moon's first work and breakout hit. The story follows Tohno Shiki, a young man who gains the ability to see "Death Lines" after suffering a near-death experience. His life takes an even stranger turn as he leaves to move into a mansion with a relative and he is forced to confront the supernatural forces he encounters...

Tsukihime was followed by a sequel Kagetsu Tohya and a fighting game spin-off called Melty Blood.

Q: What other works have Type-Moon worked on?

A: Their other major work is Fate/Stay Night. Fate/Stay Night follows the story of Emiya Shirou and the deadly "Holy Grail War" he is dragged into. The work was a massive hit in Japan and spawned various video games and a series of prequel 'Light Novels' penned by Urobuchi Gen titled Fate/Zero. Currently Fate/Zero is being adapted into an anime by Ufotable.
