Raw dump of the “Things I like about San Antonio” thread to be sifted and integrated above:

It seems like the most common comments in r/sanantonio are "San Antonio Sucks!" and "Austin Rules!" I enjoy Austin as much as I enjoy any other city. However, I live in San Antonio and there is a lot to enjoy, you just might have to look a little harder because SA is kind of big. That being said, I have compiled a list of things and places to share. I have tried to focus on local establishment, whenever possible, in SA and surrounding areas. The items on this list are my opinions, and I am in no way affiliate with any of the establishments listed below.

For news junkies, SA has the best public radio station. I feel smarter every time I turn on the radio.

For you moviegoers, there are Three Alamo Drafthouses, There is also the Santikos Bijou for independent and art house films.

For people who want something to do Saturday morning, Pearl, has a huge farmer’s market. Pearl also has other activities throughout the year.

For museum lovers, there is the McNay?, the Witte, and SAMA just to name a few. For a nice stroll, there is the Botanical Garden, the Japanese Tea Garden, and the newly opened extended River Walk now with less tourists.

For your coffee fix, there is Local Coffee, Olmos Perk, Mad Hatter’s, and The Foundry just to start the list.

If you like a large beer selection you might want to check out the Friendly Spot, the Flying Saucer, the Tap Exchange, or the Esquire Tavern.

If micro-brews are more your thing, then Freetail, Blue Star, or if you don’t mind a drive the Dodging Duck might be up your alley.

For music Backstage Live, the White Rabbit, Olmos Bharmacy, Sam’s Burger Joint, and Cowboys Dancehall to round out the list.

If it is breakfast you want, there is Twin Sisters, Candlelight , Guenther House, or Magnolia.

If you are the outdoorsy type, stop by Good Sports and Good Sports Outlet, or Whole Earth before you head out to one of the many Texas State parks that are only a short drive away.

Not included on this list are the millions of places that everyone knows about, like, you know, the River Walk, the Alamo and other missions, Sea World, Six Flags, etc.

Here are some more links to help guide you. SA Current, SA Arts, SA Parks and Rec, and SA Visitor’s Guide

Just some food for thought, if you are one of the 28.9% Non-Hispanic Whites in San Antonio, chances are some Austin hipster is jealous of you. (This is a joke because nobody from Austin could ever be jealous of someone in San Antonio.)

Edit 1: Since people looking at r/sanantonio are probably going to see this, I am going to try and include some of the places you mention on this list. Thanks for the positive response.

formatting help save fats19 1 point 2 months ago Anyone know of a place that offers indoor rock climbing?

JDS89 1 point 1 month ago The only place in SA that I know of for indoor rock climbing is the UTSA rec center. I hope one opens here in town soon. The one I go to is in Austin, but I only go so often cause the drive is such a bitch.

SkittleFan? 3 points 2 months ago I've been in SA about a year now, and I have noticed there is a bit of an inferiority complex here. I feel that there is kind of a feeling that the city wants to be like Austin when it grows up. I moved here, because I wanted to live in SA, not Austin. Maybe it's not as artsy, or as "weird" but it is a fun place to live. As others have mentioned, people gather all around town. There's not just one hot spot. My coworkers go out almost every night of the week. I can't keep up, but try to join in as often as I can. This town has character, and culture - it's own character and culture - it's not Austin.

Numlocks 2 points 2 months ago I love the big Culebra Meat Market they opened up on Eckhert and Babcock. It's big but not too big and I can park right in front of the front door. I hate going to HEB and Walmart for groceries.

kishiYOU BROKE IT, THAT'S WHAT 2 points 2 months ago The new HEB down the street is pretty rocking for produce; but Culebra Meat Market knows how I like my ribeyes cut.

Numlocks 1 point 2 months ago It doesn't have everything HEB does but it's right by my house and I can run in and out with basic groceries. AND YUMMY STEAKS.

rapelsyrup 4 points 2 months ago Mr Tim's Country Kitchen. Downtown. Best. Breakfast. In. Town.

Rhynosaur 2 points 2 months ago LULU'S FOR BREAKFAST!

Also, here are some general things I like about San Antonio: There is plenty of space (at least Northwest where I am) to feel comfortable. It is tidy in most areas! The city is very accessible and well-planned, IMO, and includes some of the best roads I have ever driven on. If you are from Texas and know how bad some cities can be, you appreciate San Antonio highways. Another great plus is the weather. Okay, maybe it is way hot outside right now, but from October to April, San Antonio has a VERY pleasant climate and we even get some snow, maybe, sometimes, not really... An aside: that article about white people and dining was hilarious, oh wow.

SigmundDali? 3 points 2 months ago People visiting almost always say they don't understand the highways here in San Antonio. I cannot understand that at all. Two concentric loops, with a giant "X" of Interstates and a giant "+" of highways... It seems like the perfect way to lay out a highway system.

Rhynosaur 3 points 2 months ago Forget the layout, I just like the fact that most times I get on the highway I have about 5 or 6 lanes to choose from, there are half as many assholes on the road as in Dallas, maybe less, and believe it or not, I think the police in the town are pretty alright.

SkittleFan? 3 points 2 months ago As someone who recently moved here from Dallas, I concur. I hated, hated, hated the traffic in Dallas.

Dienekes00 8 points 2 months ago For beer you also can't miss Pizza Italia. They have 200 different beers in self-serve refrigerators and excellent American-Italian food. Pizza by the slice can be made with any toppings and the baked pastas come out of the oven literally still bubbling. For the kicker, there is an Irish Folks Music circle that meets on Thursday evenings and is open to anyone.

epictetvs 2 points 2 months ago My freinds and I are there every monday! I'll be the one in the black shirt, meet me there.

merbear2008 3 points 2 months ago I live right by this pizza place. I thought the beer selection was awesome. I want to come check out the Irish Folk Music circle. I don't play anything but it sounds fun to watch and listen. Maybe I can talk my BF into bringing his guitar.

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago Like I told fiddlechick, if you're interested in meeting or just looking askance at a fair number of redditors you should come by just about any Thursday. A whole bunch of my gang can be found, Thursday evenings, on the picnic tables, outside. We used to sit inside but then we grew too large and the awesome staff (a lot of them friends) told us to go outside and stop hogging tables ;) Just look for a bunch of 20-somethings likely wearing nerdy t-shirts with lots of beer.

merbear2008 2 points 2 months ago Very cool. I will come looking one Thursday.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago This is new to me, thanks for sharing. I tend to stay inside 410 so there are a lot of cool places out there that aren't on my radar.

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago Do you actually play the fiddle? If so, the Thursday night gang would love to have you. A friend of mine occasionally takes a guitar or mandolin and sits in for a bit. One of the most heartwarming moments that I've ever been party to was on one of those nights. A little girl (couldn't have been more than 8 or 9) brought her violin and timidly asked if she could play with them. She was clearly just starting out and they played "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" with her to uproarious applause from the whole restaurant. After the song, her face was beatific. I'm smiling just thinking about it.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago I do :) (Started at the same age of that little girl playing Twinkle Twinkle). I know not a lick of Irish nor do I know anyone in that scene, so I'm interested to check it out (Irish music is pretty technical, and I'm kind of a hack - so if I brought my instrument, not sure how much I'd add). But it sounds like a nice, supportive group of people, so would be a fun night out if nothing else. I checked out the restaurant's website, and it looks like there can be a pretty big group that shows up. Looks very cool.

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago Awesome. Do come sometime. A whole slew of my gang is usually there on Thursdays. If you're interested in waving at/meeting a few redditors check the picnic tables for a dozen or so 20-somethings after about 7:30.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago :) OK - I'll be easier to spot, being the chick with the fiddle. My work schedule has been insane lately, but will keep this in mind - Thursdays are a good night for us to go out.

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago Rad. We kind of stick out. Like I said, we'll be at the picnic tables making a load of noise with lots of beer and a fair number of us will be in nerdy attire. Star Wars, Lebowski, Arrested Development, Firefly, and gaming junk are common themes in our t-shirts.

tonyled 3 points 2 months ago are you talking about doing this at pizza italia? this sounds like a blast and im not far either. i have a guitar but i just started lessons and i still suck (but im having fun)

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago Yep. This group of casual musicians has been doing it for years and they welcome all comers. My gang eats dinner there, every Thursday, because that's the night they play ;) Come out anyweek. We're not hard to spot. A group of 20-somethings most of whom will be pretty obvious redditors (Firefly, Lebowski, Star Wars, and gaming t-shirts galore). We'll have lots of beer around us, as well.

tonyled 3 points 2 months ago love this place and the new location is soo much better! have an upvote. another great pizza place is maars on naco. amazing pizza but not a great beer selection. awesome family oriented place.

Dienekes00 2 points 2 months ago We have similar tastes, and I appreciate that :)

Ted_Leddy[S] 2 points 2 months ago I'll have to check that place out. I have only been there a couple of times but I like Purple Garlic

epictetvs 2 points 2 months ago I havn't tried the pizza, but the portions at purple garlic left me hungry.

Dienekes00 4 points 2 months ago Another wonderful pizza place. I prefer PI because I'm a beer snob and it's like 5 minutes from my house, but every time I've been to Purple Garlic I've loved it. For a very different experience, try Dough. It's authentic Napolitano pizza. Very different than American and the place is wonderful. They makes their own mozzarella, fresh, every day. When it runs out, they close up shop. Great atmosphere and amazing menu, if a little pricey. Perfect date night place.

VictoriaNicole? 3 points 2 months ago I'd like to suggest a few more additions to this list: Wurstfest, Poteet Strawberry Festival, Fiesta events, First Fridays every month, and First Fridays Pub Run every month as well.

glidingfettucini 3 points 2 months ago Lets not forget the many many little Theatres of SA. The Overtime, The Classic, Attic Rep, San Pedro Playhouse, The Vex, and even the shows put on by the local Universities. It's not New York or Chicago but you can find some decent theatre and cool people.

SigmundDali? 1 point 2 months ago I dig the Attic Rep alot. Its such a different theatre experience with 30 attendees sitting 5 feet away from the stage.

el_oyente 17 points 2 months ago* True. I am tired of all of the "I hate SA" bullshit. Venture into the Southside for some great Mexican food. Find the hole in the wall with a busy parking lot, and you're good. I promise, you will not get shot or stabbed. Camaron Pelado, great Mexican Seafood. Taco trucks down here too. On the SW side on Zarzamora there are tons of places to hang out and eat, don't be afraid. Hogwild Records on N. Main, Flipside Record Parlor on the Southside (SW Military). SA doesn't have a main "cool" district, the cool stuff is spread out all over the city.

xconomicron 1 point 2 months ago Ever since I moved down here from Waco, I have been in love with SA due to its local restaurant scene. The taco stands are pretty awesome and even the burger places like Chris Madrids are awesome. If people knew just how big SA is, I bet they wouldn't complain as much.

BigCliff? 5 points 2 months ago* You don't have to go to the South Side. Guajillo's at 410/Blanco and Taqueria Aguascalientes at Babcock/1604 near UTSA are both awesome and cheap. Edit- Taq Ag is only open for breakfast and lunch. If you like spicy stuff, get the Chilaquiles Mexicana plate for breakfast. OMFG!

SmartSukaDON'T WORRY I'LL FIX IT 1 point 2 months ago You also need to add http://www.plpsa.com for free poker games which takes place at various bars around town.

ErrorF002 3 points 2 months ago I love SA because it isn't Miami.

goodhugh 3 points 2 months ago Thanks for this. As someone looking to relocate to SA this will come in handy indeed.

Redbutter 5 points 2 months ago* As a fellow San Antonian who loves his city and as a frequent r/sanantonio reader and poster, I rarely see a "San Antonio sucks" post. My guess is the OP is going off the one that was posted 14 hours ago. SA is a great place to live. Is it perfect? No. Is it flawless? No. Does it need improvement in some aspects? Yes. Is it making those improvements? Yes. There's a lot happening that many people in this city have no clue about. Great things. People also like to post false or old and outdated "facts" about the city and metro area to place it in a negative light. In ten years this will be a completely different city in terms of urban redevelopment, mass transit, culinary standing, media standing, national appeal, etc. ps. All I have to say is F--K that overrated, overhyped college town

skintigh 2 points 2 months ago It depends on what you are looking for. If you love drinking and loud, smoky country bars, SA is heaven. If you love urban cowboy-wannabes who drive dualies to their apartment, or trashy people who let their dogs bark 24/7, this is the place. I've never lived in Austin and don't know much about it other than they always seem to have an interesting/intellectual/nerdy/creative festival going on like SXSW, Make, kite festival, etc. while I don't think I've ever seen anything equivalent in SA, unless you like Mexican Polka. It makes me jealous. But I have lived in cities in and out of the US and in some towns outside Boston, and SA compares favorably with a medium-to-large-sized town for the number of things to do but far inferior in terms of intellectual pursuits, outdoor activities, or the classiness of the citizens. At a stretch it could compete with Worcester, MA or maybe Tacoma, WA. Even San Antonio's yearly claim to fame, Fiesta, would be called "Friday night" in most other cities, and it wouldn't be dominated by morbidly obese high school dropouts herding their 6 children. I love the cost of living here (cheaper than anywhere I've live in a developed nation), and I hope SA can catch up to where Boston was when they started the subway in 1895 and catch up with bike lanes and walking trails, but I am looking forward to moving next year. Currently considering Boston, Seattle, and maybe Austin.

tonyled 3 points 2 months ago i agree wholeheartedly. ive never been a fan of austin except for the music scene. since verizon closed here we dont seem to get the concerts we used to.

Ted_Leddy[S] 3 points 2 months ago I appreciate your comment, and you are correct, I have rarely seen the exact phrase, "San Antonio sucks" or "Austin rules". However, I was using those statements to illustrate what I perceive as a general attitude with some of the comments I have seen.

Redbutter 2 points 2 months ago I understand. I appreciate to educating people on some of the many things this place has to offer. All I have to say is San Antonio Rocks!

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago* I don't see it as often in the posting as I do in the comments. Someone will say "Thinking of moving to SA," and the comments will turn into a long stream of negativity "Don't move here, it blows, there's nothing to do." "Don't live there. It blows. Your car will get jacked." Then a group of us will try to point out that there are in fact things to do, and places to live where your car won't get jacked. My point is, I saw this post and saw where Ted_Leddy was coming from and was glad.

Ted_Leddy[S] 1 point 2 months ago This may just be my perception, but I feel a lot of people who move to San Antonio are from small towns and not familiar with the issues that come with living in a large city. They are shocked because their only point of reference is a small town. Obviously this is a generalization.

fiddlechick 2 points 2 months ago And to your original comment:: "In ten years this will be a completely different city in terms of urban redevelopment, mass transit, culinary standing, media standing, national appeal, etc." I 100% agree with that. I can't believe the changes I've seen just in the last 5 years alone.

rackersqueaks 5 points 2 months ago great list! i too just moved here - really excited to check out some of these places. PLEASE add Koffee Kup to that breakfast list! You won't regret it.

haicead 2 points 2 months ago Is it still open? Urban Spoon lists it as closed.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago I used to live around the corner from there, so going to chime in. The Koffee Kup has gone through a bunch of different owners in the last handful of years. Urban Spoon has it closed because I guess the reviews on there pertain to a great era when it was run by Mary and Jesse who live in that neighborhood (maybe 4 years back? I'm vague on the dates). That said, it IS open again. Seems to be family run. The current owners are doing a good job. We've only been once, but had a great breakfast with table service, and it was damn cheap.

Gnar04 13 points 2 months ago Op Schnable and McAllister? parks for bike riding!

Voltkernok 2 points 2 months ago Frederich park!

ski_free 2 points 2 months ago If you want more intense mtn biking add salado creek around 1604 to that list as well.

thrawny 3 points 2 months ago And Government Canyon

kaji823 5 points 2 months ago Salado north of Huebner is a beast

ski_free 3 points 2 months ago Yeah my Dad got hung up in one of the boulder (more just bigger rock) sections and earned a nice little softball sized protrusion from his shin.

fiddlechick 10 points 2 months ago* I particularly like that a large number of closed-minded people think everything inside 410 is "the ghetto," so they live out in the burbs and stay out of my neighborhood ;) OK, that was snarky. In the spirit of being positive - I love San Antonio (and I've lived/travelled all over). Great list. Will add to it tomorrow when I have some spare time.

ski_free 12 points 2 months ago TIL people think Alamo Heights is the ghetto haha /s

fiddlechick 6 points 2 months ago And King William. And Terrell Hills. And Monte Vista. And Monticello Park. And River Road.

ski_free 5 points 2 months ago No love for Olmos Park? I think we're beating a dead horse at this point. Anyone who thinks inside the loop is ghetto clearly knows nothing.

fiddlechick 6 points 2 months ago Sorry, that list was off the top of my head. Love me some Olmos Park (last night, take-out from Ya-Ya's. At least once a week, dinner and music at the Bharmacy). We're in Beacon Hill, which I also think deserves to go on that list, as well as a bunch of other neighborhoods. But you're right. The horse is dead. Nothing to see here. Move along...

SigmundDali? 3 points 2 months ago You know.. I'd never really ventured into Olmos Park after five years of living in San Antonio until a couple weeks ago when I started working in a restaurant there. 95% of the clientele in that area show up in BMWs, Mercadez, and Lexuses. I had no frickin' idea there was that much old money in that area. Now if I could just convince some of those people to come to our restaurant.

fiddlechick 2 points 2 months ago It took me about that many years to start realizing the same kind of thing (going on 9 years here for me). I'm thinking the unincorporated townships like OP are likely to have the oldest/most money - as they were able to fight off being absorbed into the city. The whole city within a city thing is still something I have trouble getting my head around. Do other large cities have the same phenomenon? (Big-city-wise, I've only lived here and Honolulu). Do you want to share which restaurant?

SigmundDali? 2 points 2 months ago At least here in Texas its rather rampant. I couldn't tell you why, although my guess is high-income areas wanting autonomy from low-income areas, politically speaking. Analyze that in whatever racial terms you want. Yep, don't mind sharing. McCullough? Avenue Grill. Just opened about three months ago. Typically, I wouldn't share that type of information in the open, but if it encourages anybody to come by it'll be worth it. And I'm pretty sure I don't have any online stalkers.

fiddlechick 2 points 2 months ago Thanks for sharing - based on your previous post, that exact restaurant came to mind. I'll add it to our list of new places to check out. Good luck!

Vee_Vee 1 point 2 months ago Closed-minded? What the fuck are you talking about? I don't live inside the loop because SAISD is crap, and I'd have to send my kids to catholic school. No thanks.

haicead 7 points 2 months ago TIL SAISD is the only school district inside the loop.

Vee_Vee -3 points 2 months ago Who taught you that dumb shit? Here's a map, since you're obviously impaired. http://www.texasteachers.org/resources/maps-and-lists/districts/san-antonio/

kaostro 5 points 2 months ago TIL Vee_Vee is bad with sarcasm.

[+]Vee_Vee comment score below threshold (0 children) haicead 7 points 2 months ago It was a comment about your implied reasoning. "I don't live inside the loop because SAISD is crap" implies that one can't live inside the loop without living in SAISD.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago* I said "large numbers." Not "everyone." I've lived both in and out and see the advantages of both. If you've ever posted something to the effect of "Everything south of 410 is the ghetto. Don't even think about living there" which I've seen almost word for word on this subreddit, repeatedly, then I was directing my comment to you. If you haven't, then I was not. I was not singling out everyone who lives outside, and I'm sorry it was taken that way.

merbear2008 2 points 2 months ago Thank you for this list! My BF and I just moved a wee ago and this is a great list to reference as we get to know the area. I am excited to explore a new place.

BonKerZ 8 points 2 months ago I've always enjoyed tpr, but never knew it was one of the best. My radio is almost always on 89.1, and when it's not, it's on Kono.

Ted_Leddy[S] 2 points 2 months ago When I said TPR was one of the best, I was stating my opinion. I am always frustrated when I head up north and I lose the signal in San Marcos.

glasnostic 6 points 2 months ago Actually.. TPR is one of the best. I have friends in many other cities who have very few options for public radio. Most other cities have only one public station and it shares format with classical music. We are very lucky to have a full time talk station and enough funding to bring in all the really good programming.

BigCliff? 3 points 2 months ago I agree. I first got turned onto NPR when listening to the Dallas station, and find that TPR is just better. There's more local content, and the folks on air just seem more into it, while the Dallas folk seem to be thinking "golly, I wish I was at a real NPR station in Boston or something".

tonyled 2 points 2 months ago Anyone venture out to Grumpys in bracken? THE biggest plates of food in san antonio and oh so good. i highly recommend the chicken fried chicken.

goodhugh 2 points 2 months ago Thanks for this. As someone looking to relocate to SA this will come in handy indeed.

glennsanders 9 points 2 months ago Great list for a newbie to SA - luckily I've already discovered some of these places on my own, and will definitely check out some of the new ones! Thanks!

Ted_Leddy[S] 7 points 2 months ago Thanks. I just wanted to try and counter balance some of the San Antonio negativity.

fiddlechick 4 points 2 months ago I think it's a good tactic - might as well focus on the positive over here, than try to convert people in the negative threads.

soaringrooster 3 points 2 months ago I also love visiting Fredericksburg and Boerne during the holidays. I wasn't born in S.A. but consider it home especially now that I have moved away and miss all of its cultural charm.

psychosid 3 points 2 months ago As long as you're venturing out, check out Kerrville, too. We have some cool stuff to do and the river is one of the most beautiful around. When it's not a desert drought like this year, there are lots of places to kayak, tube, or just hang out in the water and swim.

soaringrooster 2 points 2 months ago Thanks!

shepha 5 points 2 months ago I'd add the Salado Park Greenway which will be one of the longest in Texas once its done as well as tons of other parks that arent stuck between two highways like many in other big cities

gwrober 5 points 2 months ago Nice list! I like it here too. :)

Dankatron 5 points 2 months ago Hey I just moved here, what are some good jazz joints?

rschapman 2 points 2 months ago Not really a Jazz joint but Trinity University has KRTU and they are hosting 13 jazz concerts this year to celebrate. So keep a lookout. They also stream live over the net.

Vee_Vee 5 points 2 months ago The Landing has had a radio show on NPR, Riverwalk Jazz, for many years. Luna is good too, but The Landing is the heart of the jazz community in San Antonio, perhaps even Texas.

SigmundDali? 2 points 2 months ago Nobody really appreciates the fact that San Antonio is really the center of jazz in Texas. There's a very strong and vibrant tradition here of it. And I completely agree. The Landing is a wonderful jazz spot and the only place on The Riverwalk worth driving downtown for. Its also an insanely charming place to take a date, assuming the date has an ounce of intelligence in them.

Dankatron 2 points 2 months ago Sorry for the double post, I had a quick question. Is there a cover for this place or any kind of charge(drink minimum, mandatory meal, etc.)? I'm a poor college student so I gotta conserve the cash I have.

Vee_Vee 2 points 2 months ago To be perfectly honest, I don't even know. On that note, Luna, is probably more up your alley, and they do have a cover.

darkjedisa 2 points 2 months ago Inside the landing when the stage band is playing, there are covers and drink mins that vary depending on the night. If you sit outside, there is normally a few guys playing and no cover or drink min.

Dankatron 2 points 2 months ago Definitely going to look into this, thanks a lot.

fiddlechick 3 points 2 months ago Can't upvote this enough.

tonyled 2 points 2 months ago LOVE the landing!!!

toastworks 3 points 2 months ago Carmens De La Calle Cafe down off N St. Marys... most legit place I've seen in town as of yet.

nullxposur 3 points 2 months ago Check out luna live, I believe lunalive.com

lPsyclko 3 points 2 months ago YES! I was going to suggest that very place :)

nullxposur 2 points 2 months ago Been there for jazz? Only time I was there, the band was like latin but their website always shows different types, like jazz and such.

lPsyclko 3 points 2 months ago yes, i've been there for jazz. it was quite nice _ the band you might be talking about is Border Palace. i have been wanting to get out to see them but things always come up when i'm trying to go. from the music i was able to listen to on their myspace (haha), i think i would really enjoy it.

nullxposur 2 points 2 months ago I dunno. It was a female singer that was singing english, on latin night O.o the atmosphere was nice though. Not like a bar or club, just relaxing while enjoying good music. I picture it as more of a place to have a date with.

lPsyclko 2 points 2 months ago ahhh okay gotcha... then i don't think it was that band. but like you said, good atmosphere :) i like the smaller booths that were lit by only candlelight. definitely a good place to have a date!

Voltkernok 2 points 2 months ago Or you can go with me and Null :3

lPsyclko 2 points 2 months ago :3

nullxposur 2 points 2 months ago hey, doesn't always have to be a date. you can always take yourself out and have an awesome time. at least you can guarantee you'll get laid lmao #foreverAlone

anonymousRobot 2 points 2 months ago you might also try salute on saint marys. there show dates vary, but i've seen a great jazz band there a few times

fiddlechick 2 points 2 months ago Soho downtown has a good combo on Friday nights (Midtown Jazz Sound - they play elsewhere during the week but I've only seen them at Soho). I don't care for the bar itself, but the little front room where the band sets up is intimate and the band is great.
