Lending Kindle Books
- Eligible Kindle books can be loaned once for a period of 14 days.
- The borrower does not need to own a Kindle -- Kindle books can also be read using the free Kindle reading applications for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry?, and Android devices.
- Not all books are lendable -- it is up to the publisher or rights holder to determine which titles are eligible for lending.
- The lender will not be able to read the book during the loan period.
More information on lending available from Amazon.
Format for posts:
- [TO LEND] - List a book available to lend.
- [REQUEST] - List a book you'd like to read.
Lending Guidelines:
- A plot synopsis in the post or a link to Amazon, Wikipedia or any other site with information on the book being offered or requested is recommended but not required.
- The book should go to the earliest interested responder.
- After both parties have agreed on the transaction in the public post, then move to private messaging to receive email address and contact information needed to initiate loan.
- Afterward, return to the post and let everyone know the book has been taken. Successful transactions will be tagged with a red Taken logo.
