Rules & Guidelines

Post who or what you are, have people ask you about yourself!

IAmA=I Am A

AMA=Ask Me Anything

AMAA= Ask Me Almost Anything

Obvious nonsense and anything but self posts will be deleted. You don't have to always be polite, but mindless insults are subject to moderation.

If you have a lead on someone famous that you'd like to have do an IAmA, contact hueypriest, who can coordinate and promote the interview.

Green Dots

These are only awarded after the verification of (1) celebrities e.g. actors, politicians, musicians, Star Wars kid (Internet celebrity)- except Reddit celebrities OR (2) special cases whereby numerous commenters seriously doubt the IAmA claims.

If your post falls into one of these categories, please notify the moderators and we'll verify your claim.

Do not send us "proof" with your submission as the assumption is that your IAmA is considered legitimate until multiple users express doubts about your claim. If and when that happens, message the moderators, and we'll find a way to verify your claim without compromising your privacy.

Fake Posts

Any post that is fake will be removed. If you have concern about the authenticity of an IAmA post, please send the moderators a message.

Requests

It is encouraged to put requests into the Current Request List, however, feel free to make submission requests too. Before making a request of any kind, we encourage the use of searching for previous IAmAs on that topic. We recommend Google's Site Specific search. Example Query.
