The Rules of the Forest

Why was this made?

/r/EntExchange was created to facilitate the trading of lighters, pieces, clips, whatever, between the Great Ent Forest of /r/trees.

So what should I be trading?

Well pretty much anything. Hand made crafts are encouraged and we would love to see trades made a simple and little things but if have an old piece you just don't use stick it up here and see what happens. However, do to the nature of the internet, we would suggest you keep it small.

How does this work?

We are open to suggestions of helping make this work, but as it is now here are the RULES: * Don't Be a DICK * Make a post on /r/EntExchange listing what you have to trade and what you want in return * Someone who is interested can PM you. * Exchange addresses * Note in your submission that you have found an exchange partner.

Caveat Emptor!

It is up to you to check the legality of what you are sending through the mail. Until the world is fully enlightened BE CAREFUL HINT: Clean your piece! Sadly, as it is now we have no way of verifying your buyer/seller. Its sucks that we have to say this but again, BE CAREFUL. Trades are made at your own risk. Reddit and this Subreddit cannot be responsible for any trades made.

Shipping & Receiving:

* If someone does not send what they promised to send, please try to work it out before going to the mods, make sure that the person actually did not send it. Bans will be handed out liberally - so protect yourself with evidence that the item was shipped. * Check out who you are trading with. Have they been posting on reddit for awhile? Have they verified their email address?

To the would be Cheats and Thieves:

Think before you act. Look at the overall goal of this subreddit and the community it is trying to foster - Is that really worth F'ing over for your selfishness? Also, the person shipping to you is going to have your address and I am sure there are legally minded Ents that would be willing to help out with the Court of Small Claims.

How Can I Help?

Offer suggestions on how we can better protect our fellow Ents and come up with was to verify traders. We can't guarantee trades but we would like to make them safer.
